The distillery is situated in the Kami region of Japan, where Mount Mikuni and the Sugihara River flows. The spring water is known as the Matsukai No Mizu, which was chosen by the ministry of environment as one of the nest waters in Japan.
This fine Kaigan Whisky is made from a perfectly balanced blending of Japanese and imported malt whisky, which have been aged in oak barrels for more than 8 years. Deep amber in color, with elegant floral notes and hints of tropical fruits. Sweet toasted oak and honey on the palate, the Kaigan 8 year old whisky presents you with a long, rich and profound finish.
