The Templeton Exclusive Golden Oak release pays homage to the special color the three barrels that this whiskey was aged in since 2017. The staves of these barrels had a natural porous oak with high sugar content. As these barrels aged, the high sugars in the oak reacted with light to give these barrels their beautiful golden orange color.
