With only 350 bottles released Annually, Mortlach’s Midnight 30 takes their 2.81 times distilled 100% Malt Barley in one of their oldest releases that is finished in Bordeaux wine, Calvados, and Guatemalan Rum Casks. Dark amber in color with excellent beading, coming in at 98.2 proof an overall desirable experience.
Smooth smoky nose that opens up into a rich oak and black pepper aroma. Very light body that goes down silky smooth. Starts with a smoky black pepper flavor profile that opens up into vinous blackberry and vanilla notes. Fading to fruity apple and oak bonfire with a light musk and a long lingering smoke finish that lays on your breath.
