This limited edition bourbon will be first available on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the distillery in Hye. The first 1,000 bottles will be reserved for attendees of this exclusive release event. Each bottle of the 2024 Cowboy Bourbon is hand-selected by Master Distiller Donnis Todd and aged for a minimum of eight years, ensuring an exceptional depth of flavor. Bottled at cask strength, uncut, and unfiltered, this bourbon delivers a robust and sweet taste that overpowers the heat, providing an experience as bold as the Texas Hill Country where it is crafted. With only 10,000 bottles produced for this 10th anniversary, Garrison Brothers has gone all out for this award-winning release.
Since its debut in 2014, Cowboy Bourbon® has been instrumental in establishing Garrison Brothers and Texas on the national bourbon stage with its distinctive and sought-after tasting notes. For each release, Master Distiller Donnis Todd selects his most prized barrels, which are then set aside for further maturation in the extreme Texas climate, resulting in some of the boldest bourbon available.
The 2024 Cowboy Bourbon 10th anniversary edition, at 140.2 proof, epitomizes the peak of bourbon craftsmanship. The bottle comes encased in a sophisticated, custom-designed black box. The keepsake box features sleek black sides with rich gold embossed printing and a gold-lined interior that contrasts beautifully with the deep amber of the bourbon, showcased through the transparent front. The 2024 edition medallion hangs around the neck of the bottle, representing the numerous accolades and the high regard this bourbon commands. The box’s embossed details and limited production number highlight the rarity of this release.

At 140.2 proof, it takes a special barrel to craft a bourbon sweet enough to be enjoyed at such a high proof. Master Distiller Donnis Todd tastes and selects these exceptional barrels year-round for the Cowboy release. Aged at least eight years in the Texas heat, the bourbon features a mouthfeel that is coating and bold, with tasting notes of dried fruit, warm pecan wood, brown sugar, hot Saigon cinnamon, raisins, licorice, vanilla, melted chocolate fudge, and white chocolate dipped strawberries.
