Throughout history, women have fought hard for autonomy, for opportunity, and, most of all, for equality. And when those rights – such as owning land or running a distillery – weren’t justly given, women used their craftiness to claim what was rightfully theirs. Women persisted by using a male alias to deceive those who deprived them into distillery ownership. Alias Whiskey is a celebration of the scrappy, well-intentioned women who paved the way and pushed the boundaries to create a better whiskey.
