Bleier Bourbon NFL Alumni
In 1979, cousins and Bourbon Steward’s Rocky and Bob Bleier unknowingly began a family friendship which has led to this exact moment. As NFL alumni, they are uniquely united by a passion for football, an ability to outwork and over-achieve, and now through their Barrell Select, Small Batch Bleier Bourbon. The Bleier family name represents a true “Fighting Back” American success story, embedded in the family coat-of-arms honoring Faith, Family, friendship, and dedication to this great country. Rocky’s triumph over the seemingly impossible while serving in Vietnam, to his 4 Super Bowl titles with the Pittsburgh Steelers, has created a family spirit to fight at any cost and never give up. From the college gridiron off the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the University of Richmond Spiders to their passion for greatness, Rocky and Bob hope that you too will find greatness and a love for Bleier Bourbon. This long-standing family tradition of whiskey-making dates back to 1945 at Rocky’s family bar, “Bleier’s” in Appleton, Wisconsin. This Bleier Bourbon project was fueled to pay tribute to their fathers, as Rocky’s dad was the original true Bleier whiskey steward. So relax, breathe deep, imagine greatness, and have a drink with us, as this special taste may just become your “go-to”
