Striped Pig Historic Bottled in Bond Bourbon
In 1838 The 15-Gallon Act was passed which made the sale of alcohol illegal in any quantity under 15 gallons. That year, a spirited gentleman came up with a ploy to elude the Temperance laws. For four pence, patrons could enter his tent to see a pig painted with striped and in return, were served a free glass of liquor.
