Parker’s Heritage Collection 2020 Edition 10 Year Old Heavy Char Bourbon
The 2020 Parker’s Heritage Collection bourbon is aged in heavy char (Level 5) barrels and consists of 102 barrels aged on the sixth floor of rickhouse Y for 10 years. It has a mashbill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley and 10% rye. The heavy char brings forth a caramel and maple sweetness, according to the distillery, as well as a slight smokiness.

Parker’s Heritage Double Barreled Blend Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Whisky/Whiskey, American Whiskey, Blended Whiskey, Bourbon, Brands, Parker's Heritage Collection, AlcoholThe 16th edition of the Parker’s Heritage Collection consists of 67% 13-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that has been double-barreled and then blended post aging with 33% 15-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The 13-year-old Bourbon was aged on the 5th-7th floors of Rickhouse Q and was then re-barreled in new American white oak barrels with a level 3 char for 4 weeks. Then, it was later blended with 15-year-old Bourbon aged on the 2nd and 5th floors of Rickhouse II. The double barreling of the 13-year-old Bourbon helped to bring out even more oak and spice notes from the barrel, while later bending it with older bourbon helped to create a unique, bold, and balanced flavor profile. At bottling, the liquid was uncut and non-chill filtered to preserve the complex flavors of this truly unique Bourbon.
A portion of proceeds will continue to support ALS research and patient care in honor of Heaven Hill Distillery’s Master Distiller Emeritus Parker Beam.

When he wasn’t making his own whiskey he was buying it, two counties over from my great grandfather, Leonard Neeley. After 50 years of gun fights, bar brawls, and nights in jail (once with a 38 special in his pocket at the McKee Jailhouse, but that’s another story) he finally retired from the illegal side and joined me, his grandson at my now legal distillery. Even at 75 years of age you can find him starting my stills for me every morning at 6am, mixing mash by hand, providing valuable advice, and telling unbelievable stories about the old days in our family’s still house.
