PostModern Spirits Apel Straight Malt Whiskey
Apel is another unique collaboration between PostModern Spirit and Gypsy Cider Circus Co. After distilling and aging our apple brandy, we used that barrel to finish our straight malt whiskey. Notes of crisp apple and brown sugar from the apple brandy barrel pair perfectly with the smoky notes that come from our straight malt whiskey.
Knoxville’s PostModern Distilling specializes in spirits for the modern drinker. PortModern Distilling was founded on a vision to extend the craft beverage culture with both traditional artisan spirits and from the heritage, produce historically rooted spirits for today’s spirits enthusiasts.
Aged at least two years.

Pride of Indiana 10 Year Old Straight American Whiskey
This small batch of American whiskey is a blend of 15-year-old American light whiskey and 10-year-old (75% Corn, 21% Rye, 4% Barley) bourbon.
In 2014, a news site sent shockwaves through the whiskey world. The article claimed some of our favorite craft whiskeys were made in Indiana. Whiskey enthusiasts cheered and jeered as fake backstories and shady marketing tactics were laid bare. The revelation struck hard at a major distillery that had been quietly operating since the 1900s under various names and owners.
But there was a critical detail often overlooked in the uproar: the whiskey was fantastic! Over the ensuing years, enthusiasts began to embrace the exceptional whiskey hailing from Indiana. Collectors eagerly sought out old stocks, willing to spend hundreds of dollars for a single bottle.
In the spirit of transparency, Seelbach’s Spirits has dedicated the Pride of Indiana series to this remarkable Indiana distillery. We meticulously select and bottle the finest barrels we can find. This isn’t just a resurgence of transparency; it’s a celebration of Indiana’s rich distilling heritage.
