Tesla Mezcal
Smoky and floral with a smooth finish. Our limited-release Tesla Mezcal celebrates Oaxaca’s artisanal Tahona-milled mezcal with an alembic distillation process by intuitively combining the distinct flavors of native Espadín and Bicuishe agaves. The result is a mezcal that is as delicate as it is spicy, with a deep citrus and green apple nose that gives way to soft herbal notes with a delicate smokiness that lingers on the tongue. Finishes with notes of tuberose, jasmine and chamomile that soften into a balanced, velvety mouthfeel.
The hand-blown glass bottle features a rich black finish inspired by Oaxaca’s centuries’-old Barro Negro pottery-making tradition. The bottle was designed by Tesla’s Director of Product Design, Javier Verdura, in honor of his Mexican roots and early life growing up in Mexico City. The design is emblematic of Mexico’s Oaxacan culture, featuring a unique hand-molded form that honors ingenuity, family values and a love of food.
Tasting Notes: Floral, delicate and spicy with earthy aromas and hints of lime, green apple and spice followed by smoky notes. Finishes with soft tuberose, jasmine and chamomile. Mouthfeel is balanced, yet strong with light bitter notes at the end.

The Balvenie 42 Year Old The Tale Of The Dog
The Tale of the Dog, is a smooth and honeyed expression, delicately balancing sweet date and toffee notes with a light honey spice and lingering oak finish. Inspired by one of The Balvenie’s longest-serving characters, The Tale of the Dog is recalled by Dennis McBain as one of his clearest memories of working at the distillery, from over 50 years ago. It celebrates the story of McBain as a young apprentice being exposed to a new world of distillery life, as a brewer asked for a copper dog – a little copper tube once used for siphoning off whisky straight from the cask – to be flattened and put back for its owner to find. The humbling tale taught McBain what a dog was, why the expression ‘taking a dog for a walk’ was used at the distillery, and that whoever it belonged to had been sent a message, but ultimately given a second chance. McBain’s memory then inspired his suggestion of using dogs instead of unwieldy valinches for distillery tour tastings. And so, every dog used in Warehouse 24 tours is there because of Dennis McBain and his early days at The Balvenie.

A Rare Discovery from Distant Shores, is a beautifully well-rounded spirit with accentuated flavors of ripe fruit and the classic citrus Balvenie style, with a long-lasting finish. This new edition is inspired by the time that The Balvenie Malt Master David C. Stewart’s long-time friend, John Barrett, brought some samples of Caroni Rum to the distillery. In 2014, David decided to move some 20-Year-Old Balvenie from its traditional American oak casks into the ex-Caroni Rum casks, to give the whisky a rum finish unlike any other.

This is the story of one particular whisky’s 19-year journey in European sherry oak casks, resulting in a honey-smooth expression, balanced by layers of spice and ripe fruit.

$40,499.99The bottling is comprised of liquids from American and European oak casks aged 50 years or more, selected by Malt Master David Stewart MBE from stocks in The Balvenie Distillery. The Balvenie Fifty: Marriage 0614 continues to incorporate the five casks used in the Marriage 0197, released in 2019, with the addition of liquid from two new casks. The final expression is bottled at 46% ABV.
Every bottle of The Balvenie Fifty: Marriage 0614 is presented in a wooden canister, made from elm trees sourced from the grounds of The Balvenie Distillery. Each cannister is comprised of 50 layers: 48 layers of elm and two of brass, handcrafted by Scottish wood craftsman, Sam Chinnery, at his workshop on Bruntlands Farm near Elgin, Scotland.
