McFarlane’s Reserve Select Cask Strength Bourbon
Whisky/Whiskey, American Whiskey, Bourbon, Cask Strength Whiskey, Brands, McFarlane's Reserve, AlcoholIn the summer of 1794, Major Hames McFarlane and his band of whiskey rebels descended on Bower Hill, General Neville’s majestic West Pennsylvanian Estate, in protests of the tax. On the second day of the standoff, a white flag was waved from Neville’s mansions, and McFarlane, assuming the government had surrendered, stepped out in the open and was shot dead. McFarlane’s death further radicalized the resistance, inciting additional violent clashes with the Government, which ultimately quelled the Whiskey Rebellion in the fall of 1794. McFarlane’s brave stand, however, is a lasting tribute to American passion and our intimate and storied history with our native spirit.
McFarlane’s Reserve Select is a cask-strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskey and the perfect toast to the rebellious spirit.

Midleton Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood
Dair Ghaelach is a Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey from Midleton Distillery. This whiskey was matured initially in American Oak Bourbon barrels and finished in virgin native Irish Oak Hogshead casks. Harvested from Kylebeg Wood near Stradbally in Co. Laois, the native oak has interacted with the maturing whiskey to impart a layered medley of orchard fruits and honeycomb. Bottled at 56.2% ABV, 112.4 Proof.
Nose: Fragrant woodland spices with notes of cinnamon and nutmeg to the fore accompanied by aromatic oils and earthy pot still notes. Delicate hints of nectarine develop to create a zesty fruit note with dustings of white pepper. Additional aromas of dairy fudge and vanilla further accentuate the sweet nature of the whiskey.
Taste: Fortified by the Irish Oak, the pot still spices lead with a heightened intensity thanks to the rich wood tannins before subsiding to reveal velvety tones of caramel with sweet stewed apple and touches of orange peel. Dark chocolate with subtle notes of honeycomb and vanilla weave amongst the spices.
Finish: Delightfully long finish with the fruits and spices slowly fading, allowing the Irish Oak to linger until the very end.

New England Barrel Co. The Cut Straight Bourbon
Whisky/Whiskey, American Whiskey, Bourbon, Cask Strength Whiskey, Brands, New England Barrel Company, Alcohol“The Cut” is a special project that started Day 1 at New England Barrel Company. Each barrel used in our Small Batch Select Bourbon (Batch 2021-01 through 2021-04) rested once emptied – allowing the wood to relax and release the bourbon absorbed by the barrel itself. These barrels were then emptied a second time, the bourbon collected, and placed into an empty bourbon barrel where it was allowed to marry. The resulting whiskey is a unique, small batch of cask strength, Kentucky Bourbon.
