This product is crafted in honor of J. Frederick Hillerich who immigrated to America from Germany on October 7, 1842. His family had a long history of woodworkers. Eventually, he moved to Louisville where he opened his own woodshop. His business included barrel making for the growing Bourbon Business.
After resting in traditional Oak Barrels, J. Frederick is WoodCraft Finished using woods – the way it might have been done in the 1800s – reclaimed 200 Year Oak, Maple Wood, and Cherry Wood.
