Bluegrass Distillers Single Barrel Toasted Oak Bourbon
Each of our bottles is a craft. We started from scratch, mashing each ounce of grain by hand. Our Toasted Oak Bourbon is first aged in charred, American oak barrels. We then finish it in a toasted oak barrel, defined by its gentler char, which enhances the bourbon’s flavor.
-
Bluegrass Maple Finish Straight Bourbon
Our barrel-finished bourbons are designed to expand the realm of flavor profiles that can be created in a barrel. We loan our previously used bourbon barrels to maple syrup producers so they can create a barrel-aged maple syrup product.

Borrowed Page American Whiskey Volume #2
Whisky/Whiskey, American Whiskey, Blended Whiskey, Brands, Bluegrass Distillers, Borrowed Page, Mammoth Distilling, Talnua Distillery, AlcoholThe story of American whiskey is the story of America: a melting pot of ideas contracting and expanding as we resolve to write our narrative together. It’s a genre-blurring anthology being written and revised, glass by glass, bottle by bottle, to become a record of our past and inspiration for our future.
Borrowed Page American Whiskey is a limited-release series. Each volume will be different from the last, blending the culture, craft, and passion of America’s small craft distilleries as we unite to write the next chapter and caret the story of American whiskey forward.

Midway Colonel Francisco Rum Barrel Finished Rye
Whisky/Whiskey, American Whiskey, Brands, Bluegrass Distillers, Midway Distilling Company, Rye Whiskey, AlcoholThe Midway Distilling Company operated from 1916 to 1920 in Midway, KY, Kentucky’s first railroad town. Production was suspended due to wartime prohibition, which restricted the use of grains for food. Midway Distilling barrels were then bottled as medicinal spirits until 1924 when the distillery and its remaining inventory were destroyed by fire.
Colonel Francisco Release
In 1835, Colonel John Francisco sold his 216-acre farm to the Lexington and Ohio Railroad, making the foundation of Midway possible. Around the same time, American whiskey rose in popularity, as rum was highly taxed and tariffed. Our Colonel Francisco Rum Finish blends the two spirits while paying homage to the man who made Midway possible.

Lot 25 Release
Midway Lot 25, at West Railroad and Turner Street, was the original “distillery district” of Midway from 1865 to 1877. This period also marked the rise of American whiskey cocktails, many of which were made with sweet vermouth. Our bold Lot 25 Rye Whiskey achieves a refined finish and subtle warmth from several months in a repurposed vermouth barrel.
