Hidden Barn Kentucky Straight Bourbon
The Hidden Barns of Kentucky, painted black to hide the operation inside some, and as an act of solidarity for the rest, still stand as a reflection of a time when those whose passion for whiskey making would stop at nothing. That same passion drives us to make whiskey the hard way because we love the process as much as the result. What may seem inefficient to most is a portrayal of a labor of love to us. We embrace the natural variances and settle for nothing less than quality no matter the cost.

Neeley Sweet Thumped Kentucky Straight Rye
Most rye whiskeys have traditionally been cooked and distilled the same way since prohibition. Our 11th generation distiller, Royce Neeley, operates outside the confines of the norm. He cooks our rye at lower temperatures, and utilizes a proprietarily charged copper thumper on the third pot distillation, bringing our the sweeter notes of the rye grain.

Pawpaw Sizemore’s Revenge Kentucky Peanut Butter Whiskey
Born in the Mountains of Clay County, Kentucky on Sexton’s Creek in 1943, my Pawpaw Sizemore knows a thing or two about good sippin’ whiskey and how to make it. When he wasn’t making his own whiskey he was buying it, two counties over from my great grandfather, Leonard Neeley. After 50 years of gun fights, bar brawls, and nights in jail (once with a 38 special in his pocket at the McKee Jailhouse, but that’s another story) he finally retired from the illegal side and joined me, his grandson at my now legal distillery. Even at 75 years of age you can find him starting my stills for me every morning at 6am, mixing mash by hand, providing valuable advice, and telling unbelievable stories about the old days in our family’s still house.

The Old Jett Brothers Kentucky Straight Bourbon
Whisky/Whiskey, American Whiskey, Bourbon, Brands, Neeley Family Distillery, The Old Jett Brothers, AlcoholProudly distilled and bottled by The Neeley Family Distillery/
In 1881, James Jett joined his three brothers Joseph, George, and Albert to establish a distillery located at the confluence of the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers near Carrollton, Kentucky. The Jett Brothers Distilling co. Mashed 248 bushels per day, yielding 20 full barrels of Kentucky Bourbon. Unfortunately, the Jett Brothers Distillery did not survive Prohibition. What remains of the original distillery is located about 10 miles from my current distillery, and as such much of the terroir influence that was found in the Jett Brothers Bourbon is also found in the taste profile of my bourbon.
