Whisky/Whiskey, American Whiskey, Bourbon, Single Barrel, Sour Mash Whiskey, Brands, Wheel Horse Whiskey, AlcoholWheel Horse Bourbon is crafted and matured at the historic Owensboro Distilling Company in Owensboro, Kentucky.
As the 10th oldest permitted distillery in the state, Owensboro Distilling has a rich history that dates back to the late 1800s. Now, the distillery continues its legacy of making excellent Bourbon under the direction of Master Distiller Jacob Call.
This Single Barrel Selection was distilled from a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley. The Bourbon was distilled in copper stills, then aged in a hand-selected, 53-gallon, charred oak barrel for four years. Like all of our whiskeys, this Bourbon is bottled without chill-filtration.
