Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero
$249.99Clase Azul Mezcal Guerrero is made from 100% Agave Papalote, also known as Agave cupreata, and specific to the Guerrero region. The plant grows wild in the mountain range of Guerrero, which is on the coast and has a tropical climate. Agaves cook over the course of three-fo-four days in a pit oven using volcanic rock and firewood from the Guamuchil tree before being distilled using firewood and a copper alembic still. The result is a palate and aroma that go from grapefruit skin and fresh wood to rosemary and peanut oil, with hints of butter and daisy flowers, the company reports.

Clase Azul Tequila Día de Muertos Sabores
The Sabores Limited Edition is Clase Azul’s first Single Estate Agave Tequila — an incredibly rare practice where the agave used is exclusively harvested from a single field. All the Blue Weber Agave used for this tequila was sourced from a specific mountaintop in Los Altos de Jalisco: Cerro de Viboreo.
The aroma and flavor profiles were inspired by typical recipes prepared for this celebration like hot chocolate and Arroz con Leche, a rice pudding seasoned with cinnamon – and often vanilla and coconut.
“Through flavor you can evoke memories,” explains Clase Azul master distiller, Viridiana Tinoco. “The goal was to recreate the essence of this holiday’s gastronomy in an añejo tequila so that anyone, anywhere could experience it.” 1L bottle
