Cedar Ridge Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon
Our Barrel Proof Bourbon is crafted from Iowa corn, aged in char #3 barrels, and non-chill filtered. These barrels are aged in non-climate-controlled rickhouses, where our Midwest weather exposes them to temperature swings of over 100 degrees each year – resulting in a unique flavor profile that can’t be achieved in other climates.
Made from: 74% Iowa Corn, 14% Rye, 12% 2-Row-Malted-Barley

For this annual Double Barrel release, we transferred our flagship bourbon into a second, new American oak barrel to capture the full-bodied flavors of its freshly charred staves. The secondary finishing cask draws out the bold qualities of our classic bourbon and the rich flavors of Iowa corn. -

Our straight Rye Whiskey finished in estate port wine casks – first aged in new American oak, then finished in Estate Port wine casks for added complexity. This expression boasts a unique color and flavor of dried cherries and stone fruits, while the familiar vanilla and spice take a supporting role in the overall flavor profile.

Charles E. Ballard Straight Corn Whiskey
Charles Ballard’s story takes off where Lee Sinclair’s ends in many ways. Born in nearby Hillham, Ballard began his career as a pin-setter at West Baden Springs Hotel by Lee Sinclair. Ed eventually went on to build a massive business and philanthropic empire, that included ownership of the West Baden Springs Hotel following Lee Sinclair’s death. In 1915, Ed and his wife, Dolly, built their family home Beechwood. Decades later in 1995, the Doty’s began the French Lick Winery in the same Beechwood Mansion.
