Chateau de Laubade L’Unique The Traveling Barrels
“L’Unique, The Traveling Barrel” is a blend of two 8-year-old Bas Armagnac single casks of Baco and Ugni Blanc grape varietals, finished in one ex-Bourbon barrel for 8 months. In 2018, an emptied barrel was shipped from Laubade, Armagnac – France, to Bardstown Bourbon Company in Kentucky where it was used for maturing Bourbon. In 2020, this barrel was then shipped back home to conclude its transatlantic journey and give an incomparable finish to the Bas Armagnac.

Chattanooga Triple Islay Cask Finished Blended Whiskey
Our limited edition Barrel Finishing Series celebrates the union of Tennessee High Malt into a variety of classic finishing casks. Crafted from a combination of unique whiskey mash bills – all containing at least 25% specialty malted grains – each batch is custom-made to complement the flavor and aroma characteristics of the finishing barrel.
For our sixth barrel finished release, our distillers returned to one of the most famous whisky-making regions in the world: Islay, Scotland. Renowned for their rich, earthy, and smoky character, whiskies from this region utilize barley malt that is dried and smoked with peat moss native to the island – a regional tradition dating back centuries. Finished in 3 types of scotch whisky casks sourced from 3 different distilleries, each barrel type contributes its own unique, peaty character to the blend.
To highlight and enhance the qualities of these multiple finishing barrels, our distillers brought together a custom blend of 3 different peated whiskeys, made with 3 unique peated malts, sourced from 3 UK malthouses. Aged for over 5 years, this full-throttled approach to finished whiskey gathers smoky flavor from each & every step of the process – expressing the multilayered contributions of each ingredient, mash bill, and finishing barrel.

Chattanooga Whiskey Bottled in Bond Vintage Series: Fall 2020 is a seasonally inspired bourbon crafted to bring out the rich, warming flavors of fall and winter. Barreled between July and December 2020, this limited-edition release features a blend of roasted mash bills, including the debut of the “SB101” mash bill. Crafted with two types of drum-roasted caramel malted barley, it layers decadent notes of chocolate, toffee, and caramel into the whiskey.
The result is a bourbon with deep, indulgent flavors like oatmeal raisin cookie, root beer, chocolate malt, pecan pie, and sweet hay—perfect for cooler weather. Made in small batches of just 10 barrels each, this Bottled in Bond release is available in limited quantities.

Chattanooga Whiskey’s Spring 2018 Vintage is crafted from a selection of four unique high malt bourbon mash bills – all made within the same distilling season – and each composed of at least 25% specialty malted grains. The result is an innovative approach to one of the industry’s most time-honored quality standards.
“Our Spring 2018 blend includes a small percentage of a new recipe to the series: R18016. Made with approximately 20% minimally dried ‘green’ malt in its mash bill, this delicate recipe added a lovely, light complexity to the blend,” – Grant McCracken, Head Distiller.

Behold, fruit of the Gods! This fall-inspired bourbon liqueur was infused with over 140 pounds of dried persimmons, which contribute a decadent, caramelized mango and apricot-like character to the liqueur’s flavor profile. Made with a blend of 5 high malt bourbon mash bills, each barrel was aged for more than 3 years in toasted & charred oak prior to the addition of an 8-ingredient infusion of dried fruit and aromatic spices. Made with 100% real whiskey and real ingredients, this pot-distilled liqueur is the perfect cool-weather sipper – and an aperitif fit for the Gods!

High Malt gin, take 2. Crafted from a variety of botanicals including honey, hibiscus, coriander & juniper, our second Experimental gin explores the sweeter, fruitier style of gin, known as “Old Tom.” Made from a base of our signature Tennessee High Malt mash bill, this gin was infused & distilled with a blend of 10 botanicals before being finished in single use bourbon barrels for over 6 months. The result is a fruit-forward, whiskey lover’s gin – perfectly suited for a Tom Collins cocktail!

This dual-finished Experimental Batch brings together the complementary flavors of two aromatic European dessert wines: Portuguese Moscatel and French Sauternes. Made from a high malt mash bill that includes Venetian (Italy) grown pilsner malt, the Experimental bourbon was aged for 2+ years prior to being transferred into separate finishing casks. After a long finish of nearly 2 years, the whiskey was reunited for a blend that highlights the sweet, grassy & floral qualities of both whiskey & wine(s).
